The breakfast system requires preordering a day in advance, with only five options to choose from, which can be inconvenient. Lighting in the room isn't ideal for seniors, and the TV options are lacking. HBO quality leaves something to be desired. Wifi is average at best, managing to suffice for basic needs but not for a tech-savvy traveler.

The restaurant here was good for breakfast, we both ordered freshly cooked dishes. A bathtub was clean and everything was beautiful. The location in a busy area was great and fantastic and there were a market and shopping outlets nearby.

Good location in central Ubud. Had a nice room with view of rice paddy. Decent breakfast of egg, toast, bacon, coffee and croissant etc. Pool is good.Free wi-fi in lobby
No bbc, cnn channels. Only one Australian English channel. Had one or two minor issues with water and power but fixed very quickly.

I seriously expected a complimentary gesture for my troubles but no, just another regular room. I almost considered a good review-but just couldn't. Sad and disappointing!

Yulia Village Hotel was a lovely quiet hotel with nice helpful staff a lovley small pool to cool off in after shopping and exploring the wonderful Ubud area. The rooms were spacious clean and neat. Situated in a great spot close to everything in Ubud, far enough away from the monkey forest for them not to bother you but just a short walk to visit them if you like that sort of thing. Breakfast was very good too. We would definately stay again.
path to rooms not easy to carry suitcase over the stepping stones but staff willing to help.

Staff were friendly efficient and competent at any hour!!
The room was not only brand-new, but compact too, and had WiFi, a little refrigerator, and a safe. I appreciated the breakfast and bar where they served it.

Had a blast with my friends! The place is super chill, and we loved exploring the nearby water rafting spots and local attractions. Each morning, we enjoyed a great breakfast that kept us energized. The staff was so helpful and friendly too. If you're looking for a fun getaway, definitely consider this spot!
One morning, the bottled water we got tasted a bit strange, probably from being left in the sun. Luckily, it didn't happen again .

The staff were very friendly and happy to help with queries and requests. Mostly quiet surroundings and peaceful when one needed to have a rest from the outside tourist trade. Easy access to most places of interest in Ubud.

The staff were very helpful, breakfast included, free WiFi, clean, sat tv, pool.
On dirty monkey forest road. If that's where you want to be but you can rent a house on the outskirts of the city for $100 a week. Less than 2 nights stay here.

Good location, in the main street in ubud
We did not like this hotel. It was ok at first sight but then wediscovered that : -ONE OF THE LIGHT OF OUR ROOM DID NOT WORK. IT MEANS THAT WE HAD TO CUT OFF THE WHOLE ELECTRICITY OF THE ROOM TOBE ABLE TO SLEEP !! -THERE WAS NOT ENOUGH STAFF MEMBERS -THE BREAKFAST WAS REALLY SLOW TO BE SERVED AND WHEN I ASKED FOR EXTRA CEREALS THEY WANTED TO CHARGE ME (CHEAP BUT THAT IS STRANGE TO LIMIT ACCESS TO CEREAL)

Where it excels and where it fails
Great air-con and lovely balcony, perfect location close to everything. Friendly staff. Comfortable beds made for a restful night's sleep.
Some room allocations seemed random and unthoughtful.

The room had a nice view
The breakfast was the worse of all the hotels we stayed in ..lousy coffee and tea ..not generous . was asked to pay whilst arriving -maybe they have had trouble with previous guests ?
